The Rabbits were our well-deserved, Class of the Week this week for their superb ‘Super Hero’ afternoon.
Our youngest children arrived in disguise on Tuesday in readiness for an afternoon of Super Hero activities with their mums and dads.
Please visit the Rabbits Blog site to view some fabulous photos.
Well done to Mrs Mills and her team for their creative and entertaining activities and a huge, ‘thank you’ to mums and dads for coming along and supporting the event. I do hope you enjoyed the afternoon.
Tomorrow, (Tuesday 10th February 2015) is Safer Internet Day.
I am always surprised by how quickly children learn to use the internet and it often feels like they are almost one step ahead of the grown ups! As a school we have a responsibility to ensure our children can access the internet responsibly and that they know exactly what to do if they encounter problems. We are using resources from the UK Safer Internet Centre to help us plan and deliver internet safety lessons.
There is a wealth of information for parents;Â simply click on the above link and it will take you to the website.
Children will be sharing their work during Celebration Assembly on Friday. All parents are welcome to come along.
Welcome to our new website which was officially launched on Thursday 5th February 2015.
I have just spent a pleasant hour viewing the class blog sites and am incredibly impressed! It is lovely to see so many happy, smiling faces and such a range of activities.
As a head I will often ask myself the question, ‘Would I like to be a child in this school?’ and I can honestly answer, ‘Yes, I definitely would!’
I hope you enjoy visiting the site and please do leave a comment if you have the time.
